The Mumbai Community joyfully celebrated the Solemnity of St Paul, our Patron, on Monday, 29 June 2026, with deep gratitude and a festive spirit. The celebration began with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr Joby Mathew SSP, the Provincial.
In his homily, Fr Joby reflected on the life and mission of St Paul, encouraging the confreres to renew their zeal for the Pauline apostolate and to remain faithful witnesses to the Gospel in today’s world. During the Eucharistic Celebration, he also invited the community to offer special prayers for all the members of the Province celebrating the anniversaries of their religious profession or ordination on this day, remembering with gratitude their generous response to God’s call and praying for their continued fidelity and perseverance.
Following the Eucharistic Celebration, the members of the Mumbai Community and the Provincialate Community gathered in the local community dining hall for a festive fellowship meal. The joyful gathering provided an opportunity for the confreres to strengthen their bonds of fraternity and celebrate together the feast of the Society with gratitude, prayer, and shared fellowship.
The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of St Paul’s missionary spirit, inspiring all present to continue proclaiming Christ through the Pauline mission with renewed enthusiasm and dedication.
