Celebration of the Feast of Blessed James Alberione “Preach the Gospel at all times, everywhere, making use of all modern means, just as Blessed James Alberione has done. Let us draw inspiration from his life as we navigate the challenges of our times,” urged His Excellency Bishop Arockiaraj Satis Kumar, Auxiliary Bishop of Bangalore, during the Eucharistic celebration on the Feast of Blessed James Alberione. The solemn occasion took place on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, at the Society of St Paul in Bengaluru. Fr Dominic Savio D’Silva, the Superior of the community, extended a warm and formal welcome to Bishop Arockiaraj, who was recently consecrated. In his introduction, Fr D’Silva presented a brief but impactful profile of the bishop, highlighting his journey of faith and dedication to the pastoral ministry in the Archdiocese of Bangalore. Bishop Arockiaraj preached an inspiring and thought-provoking homily, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Blessed Alberione’s vision in the modern digital landscape. Fr Richard Britto, Rector of St Peter’s Seminary, as well as various Rectors, Religious Superiors, and the members of the Pauline Family.
