St Theresa’s Parish in Eluru under the leadership of Rev. Fr. M. Mariadas SSP, the Parish Priest, along with Subodha Nilayam (Society of St Paul), St Theresa Convent and Sisters of Clemenza Villa, reached out to the poor families in Gollayagudem with provisions that included 10 kilograms of rice, one each kilogram of dhal and cooking oil.
Different religious communities in our parish deeply felt to do something for the daily wagers who have suffered the most because of the countrywide lockdown in the wake of Covid-19.
At the invitation of Fr Mariadas, our community in Eluru, parishioners and religious sisters generously responded to this noble cause.
As many as fifty families benefited from this programme of helping people in need. The Parish Priest thanked and appreciated the kind hearted souls who came forward to help the poor, and he assured them the blessings of the Rise Lord.
