Sunday, 16 June 2019, will go down as a memorable day as the community of New Delhi celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the First Religious Profession of Br Leo Kocheelath.
In the introduction, Fr Thomas Kulangara, the M.C of the day, explained about the Brotherhood and gave a brief biography of Br Leo.
At 11 am, the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr Varghese Gnalian, the Provincial Superior. Sharing his personal experiences with Br Leo, Fr Gnalian recalled how Br Kocheelath has been a person of Commitment, Dedication and has a sense of Loving care for the members of the community wherever he has been and he exhorted the congregation to embrace these qualities.
The Holy Eucharist was followed by a short felicitation programme in which Fr Gnalian along with Fr Joseph Thulumpenmakel, the Superior, felicitated Br Kocheelath and thanked him for 50 years of untiring and youthful Pauline Spirit. The presence of our members from Delhi and Jalandhar, Sisters from PDDM and Daughters of St Paul, family members of the Jubilarian and many other Fathers, Sisters, Religious and well-wishers added much joy to the celebration. All came to an end with a delicious fellowship meal.
