During the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration on Thursday, 30 May 2019, Fr Varghese Gnalian, the Provincial Superior, presided over the Rite of Entrance to Postulancy and to Novitiate. The Aspirants – Islary Nerswn, Kerketta Anup, Kerketta Suresh, Kollappallil Stephen, Kujur Kuldeep and Vengathadathil Aneesh – entered into the year of Postulancy, and the two Postulants – Joms Sajan Kizhakel and Kanikathottam Mobin Jose – entered the canonical year of Novitiate. The Provincial Superior instructed the candidates regarding what is expected of them during the year of Postulancy and Novitiate respectively. He emphasized that they need to be always attuned to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, especially during these years of spiritual growth and discernment of their vocation.
During the ceremony, Fr Varghese markedtheir entrance to the year of Postulancy and Novitiate, by presenting a copy of the Holy Bible each. He then entrusted the Postulants to the care of Fr K.V. Sebastian, Master of Postulants, and the Novices to the care of Fr Saji Antony, Novice Master, respectively.
