“I am glad to know that you carry out a lot of apostolic activities in the field of the media from this campus,” said Auxiliary Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes, the Archdiocese of Bombay, on his Pastoral Visitation to St Pauls Bandra campus.

On Thursday, 09 January 2020, Rev. Fr Varghese Gnalian, Fr Johny p., some of our members received Bishop Fernandes at St Pauls community, Bandra, Mumbai, and they accompanied the Bishop to every apostolic department. While visiting the sectors, the Bishop was very curious to know and to learn about new progress of the Mass media and the Multimedia and their usefulness in the apostolate.

Towards the end of the visit, over the high at St Pauls Provincialate, the Bishop at length animated the members on the importance of employing the means of social communication at the service of the Church’s evangelization. He also challenged the Paulines to produce short-video programmes based on gospel values, and to maximum explore the power of the social media for the purpose of evangelization. Further, the Bishop invited the Paulines to collaborate more with the archdiocese in its mission.
