The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various media platforms is increasing day by day. It has affected the way we conduct our media apostolate. In this context, an effort was made in the community of Mumbai to conduct a session on generative AI. Br E J Thomas, the Tech Head of the community conducted an informative session on the meaning of generative AI and how we can make use of the AI tools in our apostolate.
Generative AI is to know how computers have been used to think like human beings. It is to study the functions of computers from executing instructions to offering intelligence service.
The participants included members from St Pauls community and the religious sisters from other congregations. They were actively engaged in the session with keen interest.
At the end of the session, participants of the session clarified a few doubts on AI. On the request of the members, the resource person demonstrated on the screen how actually AI works on giving exact prompts.
