The community of Ranchi was privileged to welcome all the members who came to attend the Ordination ceremony of Dn Francis Xavier Aind. True to an old saying, ‘Grab the opportunity as opportunities don't often come along” the community seized the opportunity also to welcome the newly Ordained priest Rev. Fr Damiyan Borgoary who celebrated his first Holy Mass in the community of Ranchi on 13 April 2024.
After the Holy Eucharist, Fr Francis, the Superior, invited all for a fellowship meal and extended a special welcome to the newly ordained deacon Amit Toppo by saying, “We would like to extend our warmest welcome to you, dear Dn Amit. We are thrilled to have you in our midst. We wish you a fruitful ministry and all the best.” The following day, 14 April 2024, the members of the community along with Fr Provincial, Joby Mathew, and the Formation Director, Fr Pritviraj Philip, joined the members who came from various communities and travelled to Torpa Parish in the Diocese of Khunti to take part in the Ordination ceremony of Dn Francis Xavier Aind and in his First Holy Mass on the next day at Icha village.
It was, in fact, an enriching experience for the Pauline Priests and Brothers who came representing different communities to witness the Priestly Ordination and the First Mass. A variety of tribal dances and cultural programmes marked the celebration.
