Bandra : One of the means with which this affirmation of our beloved Founder, Blessed James Alberione, is being actualized in our Province is through the various services of St Pauls India, the Import-Export section of our apostolate, which have become truly global in every sense.
Ever since the department was created about 25 years ago, it has a successful story of expansion in its operations and growth in its reach to every corner of our five continents under the divine providence and the protection of our Founder who saw the Pauline mission as a mission without frontiers and boundaries.
With the blessing and inauguration of the renovated office premises and the new online store of St Pauls India by Fr Joby Mathew, Provincial Superior, on 29 Monday January, a new chapter is added to the success story of the department. The Director, Fr Siji Jose, together with the team of 11 staff is fully committed to take the services of St Pauls India to new heights.
Dedication, communication and public relation seem to be the magic formula that the team follows at St Pauls India!
Currently St Pauls India imports and distributes books and periodicals from more than 50 International Publishers, and exports books from ST PAULS/BYB and other major Indian Publishers to more than 30 countries around the world.
Fr Siji Jose has already put in place an aggressive promotional strategy for the department consisting of regular visits to the librarians of the Major Seminaries and Religious Institutes within the country, organizing annual librarians’ meet, extensively using social media platforms such as whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, weekly digital fliers with regular updates on the latest arrivals and the monthly bulletin ‘Book World’.
With the additional office space made available through the renovation of the existing premises and the induction of a new set of qualified and competent staff, St Pauls India is all set to become one of the most vibrant and ever growing apostolic activities of our Province.
