The management of St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women (SPICEW), Bandra, has informed that the Mumbai University and the Government of Maharashtra have approved its request for the name change of the SPICEW to St Pauls College for Women (SPCW).
The name change for the Undergraduate courses is necessitated in keeping with the academic rigour and the changing scenario in the education policy of the Government of India. Besides, it reflects our expanded academic programmes. We hope that the new name will reach the college to a wider audience and present a holistic view of media education. No doubt, it is truly a historical moment for our college.
