Fr Alberione’s idea/concept of collaborators is ever valid and relevant today, probably more than at any other time when it comes to Pauline life and mission. From this perspective, every ‘staff of ours’ to whatever category they belong, is considered a true collaborator.
Keeping in mind this particular characteristic and charismatic element pertaining to our staff, the department of HR in the Province has been making a sincere effort to coordinate, organize and follow up our staff and their services to the departments of our apostolate and our communities through his visits and encounters both with the Staff and Directors/Superiors. The Department of HR primarily assists the Directors to identify suitable staff for the concerned departments, provides necessary formation and animation to our staff in the Pauline apostolate and guarantees them appropriate remuneration and other benefits as established both by ecclesiastical and civil laws. This approach, inspired by the Alberionian ideal, certainly requires a change in our mindset among us towards our staff, whom, by and large, we have considered as mere ‘workers’.
