Eluru : "A Bible for Every Home, A New Testament for Everyone" takes its origin from the great dream of Bl. James Alberione, founder of the Pauline family. Keeping this mandate in mind, Subodha Nilayam, Eluru, re-launched our campaign, "A Bible for Every Home" (originally launched in November 2006), on August 20, last year, with a target of reaching out to 1500 families in 10 Parishes in the diocese of Eluru. The campaign has already crossed this target, reaching out to 13 Parishes in the diocese and touching over 2500 families, providing each family a Catholic Bible at half the selling price (at Rs 150 instead of Rs 280), or even free of cost to deserving families, in addition to over 1500 copies of the Bible distributed through our Book Centre at the usual price during this period.
