Bandra : The Title Waves, Mumbai’s first large-format boutique book shop, turned 13 on September 8, 2023. Addressing the small gathering, Fr. Saju George, the Director General of the Apostolate, spoke of the initial struggles and challenges we had faced and said that the Title Waves of today is the result of the hard work of the many dedicated people who put their faith in God and took it as a mission that God has entrusted to us. The anniversary celebration was filled with many interesting activities in the store. In the morning, there were two batches of degree students from SPICE who organized a seminar that highlighted the importance and benefits of reading books and growing in knowledge and wisdom. The seminar stressed that reading is a vital activity that enriches our lives in numerous ways, helping us expand our communication skills, stimulate our imagination, and enhance our overall cognitive abilities. After the seminar, there was an interesting quiz programme organized by the college staff of SPICE. Fr. Stephen Kollemkudy said in his welcome address that the Title Waves is the perfect example to vindicate that if God is with us, nobody can be against us. The celebration came to an end with some colourful cultural events.
