“It’s a milestone for SPICE and an affiliation for BMM with Mumbai University is a dream come true. It may not be too long before SPICE becomes the best college for BMM in Mumbai,” exclaimed Father Shaiju Joseph, the Founding Director of SPICE, Mumbai, on being informed of the good news.
On Wednesday 28 February 2018, Government of Maharashtra gave the first nod to SPICE Mumbai to be affiliated to the University of Mumbai to offer Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) for Women. The declaration was published by Higher and Technical Education Department through its letter of intent for New College in the academic year 2018-19.
SPICE has already submitted relevant documents to the varsity to complete the second phase of the affiliation process, and it is all set to get the final document by the end of May 2018.
