Alberione Institute of Communication Education (AICE), Lagos, Nigeria has announced the admission of new students for the Batch ‘B’ media training programmes for the Professional Diploma and Certificate courses

Fr Jikson Mullasseril, the Director, has advised potential students who desire to become media professionals or be educated on media literacy for non-career journalists or writers to visit the Institute’s web site www.aicestudy.com and register for the 2018 training programmes. All Catholic applicants can choose to register through their respective parish offices.

The Professional Diploma programme which would last for 9-12 months on full or part time basis include print, broadcast and online Journalism while the duration of Certificate courses is 3-4 months, depending on the combination and has as core areas of training video editing, cinematography, creative art and design, make-up for private concerns, television and movies, theatre academy and more.

Further, the institute has designed a special media training programme for liturgical functionaries such as lectors, catechists and the religious. The participants are expected to undergo training in communication skills, citizenship education, rudiments of media reporting and production among others and would last for 2-3 months.
