Dear brothers in Jesus Christ,
I wish all of you a happy Christmas. May the joys of the season fill your hearts with goodwill and cheer. I pray that the chimes of Christmas glory add up more shine and spread smiles across the miles in the New Year 2018.
Dear confreres, Christmas is the climax of God trying to communicate to us human beings His love for us. This effort culminated in sending His only son Jesus to us in our own form and image. Thus, Christmas is the living promise that we are never ever alone in our earthly sojourn. No matter where we are in life, no matter in what condition we find ourselves, no matter how far we might stray, or how unfaithful we are, God the supreme lover, will pursue us in love! It is a love that never stops shining. If God loved us even to the extent of sending His only Son to us, then it becomes our responsibility to love Him back in loving our brothers and sisters, our sojourners. Thus Christmas becomes a never-ending love story being acted out in and through our own lives! I wish that the celebration of Christmas will make us more available to people, more sensitive to their needs and more altruistic in our relationship with the other. Once again I wish all of you a happy Christmas and a prosperous new year 2018!
