VISIT OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL

After the conclusion of XVIIth Proinvicial Chapter in Bangalore, Fr Valdir José De Castro, the Superior General, Fr Celso Godilano and Br Darlei Zanon, the General Councillors, reached the Provincialate community in Mumbai on Wednesday 8^th November. After spending some time with the members of the local community in Mumbai, on Thursday 9^th November, Fr Valdir and his councillors dedicated some time to visit the apostolic departments in St Pauls Media Complex. Fr Devasia, the Director General of Apostolate, accompanied them. The General Team met all the Directors, members and staff working in various departments. With his characteristic smiling face and charming personality, Fr Valdir had words of encouragement and gratitude for all of them. He exhorted the staff members that besides earning salary, they are participating in a mission of spreading good literature and values in the society. Being in India for the first time, Fr Valdir and Br Darlei had the first-hand experience of the apostolic activities being carried out in Mumbai. Our sincere gratitude to Fr Valdir and his team for spending time to visit every department and for their encouragement.
