APOSTOLIC VISIT TO VIJAYAWADA

Fr Mariadas, the Assit Director of St Pauls Multimedia, made a one-week visit to Vijayawada and to the surrounding places in Andhra Pradesh to study the possibility of strengthening the multimedia production in Telugu. Visiting a few book centres and other centres for audio-video products, he made a market survey, to know the demand for audio cds, and was encouraged to hear about the greater receptivity that people still have for devotional songs in telugu. Going further into certain concrete steps, he also met a few singers to know their availability to collaborate with us in our pursuit to produce new devotional cds. The quality cassettes and cds of the past from Jeevandhara communications still lingers in the minds and hearts of the people that they expect greater contribution from us in this area of our apostolate.
