JUNIORS IN APOSTOLIC ACTION

“Jesus Christ taught us not to wait for people but to search them out. Like the Master, the apostle must propagate the divine word in the cities, the towns, the houses, and even in the most remote places…”(AE 268). “It is necessary to distribute truth with full hands, even going out to bring it when people don’t come to take it” (Pr UP 600). Inspired and motivated by these thoughts of our beloved Founder, Bl. James Alberione,  our Juniors in Pune displayed their commitment to the apostolate  by organizing 1 Book Fair and 7 Book Exhibitions in the city of Pune and  in its suburbs. Though fully busy with studies at the theology and philosophy faculty of JDV, they found time to organize so many distribution activities in the first 5 months of the current scholastic year. They used these venues also for promoting our two periodicals: Inspirational Quote and The Teenager Today. The Lord worked with them and made their initiatives fruitful as they could reach out to many youngsters, touching their hearts and helping them mould their tender minds. Their focused activity enabled them to distribute in great quantity our books and media products. Congratulations to our Juniors and their supportive team, on their achievement in promoting wholesome literature for the material and spiritual growth of the students and their teachers. We sincerely acknowledge the valuable support of Fr Devassy, the Director of St Paul Book Centre, Pune, and Fr Gregory, the Superior of the community and Master of Juniors.
