ST PAULS, Ranchi, is now registered as an official unit of the Fatima Church, Hulhundu, where there are more than 15,000 Catholics. With this recognition, St Pauls, Ranchi, will be offering pastoral service to 28 catholic families in our neighbourhood. Fr Philip John, the Superior of the community and the members of the community feel that with their pastoral service, these Catholics will become much more vibrant in their Christian vocation. These families have already shown their keen interest to come out with new initiatives to strengthen their own faith and to help others to adhere to the values of Jesus. Within a couple of years, 50-60 families are expected to come around this area. The Paulines in Ranchi feel that this official unit might turn out to be an independent Parish in the near future.
