Good Pastor Int. Book Centre is not affected much by the economic crisis that prevails in the country due to the withdrawal of 500 and 1000 currency notes. True, the cash purchase has come down drastically but purchase by Debit card and Invoice has gone up that sale in November is comparatively higher than other years. A big impact is made by the distribution of Bible Diary (Tamil edition). In November, Fr George, the Director of Good Pastor, and Fr David Pushparaj visited more than twenty parishes and a couple of diocesan Pastoral Centres in Dharmapuri, Ooty, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Kodaickanal, Theni, Madurai and Palayamkottai, and the result is overwhelming.
