Mumbai: Fr Wilson Thekkanath, the Director of St Paul Book & Art Centre, Bandra, with his experience in the book centre apostolate, has already beautifully arranged the Christmas items in the Centre and has made arrangements to give good customer service to the people who will visit the book centre to make their Christmas purchase. The staff, dressed in new uniform, are raring to go to face the Christmas-rush in the book centre. As usual, the centre will remain open on all Sundays of Advent. Kochi: Br. Blaise Thadathil, the Director of St Paul Book & Art Centre, Kochi, is all set to face the expected Christmas-rush in the Centre. The centre will have the vibrant presence of Deacon Francis during this busy season before Christmas. Dn Francis who is in Kochi for a month (November/December) will render his service in the Book Centre. He has already prepared the publicity materials for the special display of Christmas items outside the Book Centre. This annual event of the special display will begin in full swing on Monday, 5th December. We wish the Director, Dn Francis and the Staff all the best and God’s blessing to make this season more fruitful and graceful. Chennai: Christmas sale in 2015 in Good Pastor International Book Centre, Chennai, was dull due to the flood in this city. This year, in spite of the demonetization crisis, the visitors to the Centre are more. The Director says, “It is a matter of great joy to see that most of the time the shop is so crowded that the two members and the seven staff are not sufficient at times to give personal attention to the customers. In the words of the Director, the situation in the Book Centre depicts what the Lord said: “The harvest is BIG but the labourers are FEW and so let us pray to the Lord of the harvest to send many more good labourers into His vineyard”.
