The entire team of SPICE, Bengaluru and ST PAULS COLLEGE spent three relaxing, fun filled and memorable days at Coorg from 10th to 12th March 2017. They were accompanied by Frs. Sunil Varghese, Arockiaswamy and Prithvi Raj Philip.

Nestled amongst the lush green hills of Western Ghats, Coorg in Karnataka is a major tourist location. Adorned with a pleasant climate and an enthralling landscape, Coorg is a tourist’s delight.  On the way, we stopped at Dubare Falls which is one of the major Coorg attractions and drenched ourselves in its running water.

During our stay at the Misty Villa, we went trekking, boating, played around coffee and spice plantation and relished a chill night with campfire by singing Antakshari. On 10th March at sharp 12.00 am the staff surprised Fr Arockiaswamy by wishing him happy birthday with a cake and a gift. While thanking all, the birthday baby said, “It is the rarest birthday of my life.”

On the second day, the staff had fun filled moments while they cooked delicious lunch with the assistance of Fr Sunil Varghese. On the same day, we went around the Coorg city and Raja’s Seat, a popular tourist point. This was the favourite place of the King of Kodagu as it offered a panoramic view of the surroundings. On our return we also visited Buddhist Golden Temple.

With refreshed spirit and renewed zeal, may our staff give their best to our media ministry in Bangalore!
